Seven Ways On Listening To God

Prayer is a communication process with God.
It is not only a process of speaking but also a process
of listening. If anybody who wants to understand
God's will in one's own life,learning on how God speaks in
the Bible is extremely important. Therefore the following
seven tips will be a good way to start with.

1. God speaks through His Creation
For the invisible things of him since the creation of
the world are clearly seen, being perceived through
the things that are made, even his everlasting
power and divinity; that they may be without
excuse.(Rom 1:20)

2. God speaks through His Bible
Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable
for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction which is in righteousness.(2 Tim 3 :16)

3. God speaks directly to men
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am
Jesus whom thou persecutest. (Acts 9:5)

4. God speaks through miracle
And the angel of Jehovah appeared unto him in a
flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he
looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and
the bush was not consumed. (Exo 3:2)

5. God speaks through dreams
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a
dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I
have heard say of thee, that when thou hearest a
dream thou canst interpret it. (Gen. 41:15)

6.God speaks through visions
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the
fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was
among the captives by the river Chebar, that the
heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
(Eze.1:1)

7. God speaks through angels
And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord
standing on the right side of altar of incense. And
Zacharias was troubled when he saw him, and fear
fell upon him. But the angel said unto him, Fear not,
Zacharias: because thy supplication is heard, and
thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou
shalt call his name John.(Luk 1 :11-13)

Two Tips On Your Family Relationship

There are different kinds of relationship in our life.
We have to deal with all these relationship everyday.
You can deal with all these relationship with your own
standard or you can choose the standard of God when facing
your relationship.Let's take a look at what the Bible says
about our family relatinoship.

1. Family Of Love

When God first created human being.He created
Adam and Eve.These two people formed the first
family of mankind.Later on,They started to have their
own children and it was never easy for them to
handle their family relationship by themselves.Look at
how Adam had blamed Eve for His own sin and
wanted to escape from his own responsibilty, you
will understand the tension from just two family
members.When Adam and Eve had their children,
things had became more complicated .Cain had
murdered his own brother Abel and since then,
human expereienced more conflict and sadness in
their famiily communication.(Gen.4 :1-8)All these
problems arose from human ignorance of God's
word and God's standard of living.Therefore,the
solution to any family issue has to begin with a
return to God's word.When dealing with family
relationship,love is always the best medicine to begin
with.It is hard for anybody to communicate with their
own family members if love is not exist in a
relationship.No wonder Jesus emphasized on love
when teaching about the essence of the Law.
(Matt.22 : 35-38)For without love, peolple will remain
self centered and will not see things from other's
perspective.In fact, The Bible always emphasized
on the unity and harmony of a family (Eph 6:1-4)and
also to love it's own members(Eph 5:22-25).With
the word of God,family problems will have exit.

2. Family of Communication

There are many busy people in this world who will
work for long hours but with less rest.These people
don't spend enough time at home and even they are
at home ,they don't really spend their times to
communicate with their children and spouse. An
interesting survey in Asia indicated that 2 things
that an Asian man will do the most when he is at
home are : sleep and watch TV. No wonder many
teenages from Asia won't be able to have a positive
father figure at home,because their fathers never
talk to them or listen to how they feel. No matter
what kinds of relationship we are talking about
today,communication plays an iimportant role in it.
It is true to say that communication takes our time
away. But apart from this process,quality
communication that promote understanding and
support to our family members will hardly exist.The
Bible states that there is a time for everything
(Ecc 3 : 1-11) ,so why not take some times to build
up your family relationship at least once a week
from today on. Perhaps you will get to know your
family in a better way and aware of positve
change after a short periods of time.

Conclusion
Family is a gift of God and we all have to
treasure such a gift.If you can protect your
family with love and communication, You
are doing God's will and the devil will has
less chance to attack your family. On the
other hand, you will experience more
blessing from God.
